Gillespie of Richmond, VA; his children, Teresa Gillespie (Timothy) of Thomasville, NC, Jennifer Cooper of Richmond, VA, Latoya Gillespie of Richmond, VA, Kendrea Agostinelli (Lorenzo) of Richmond, VA, John Gillespie, Jr. of Richmond, VA and Kevin Gillespie (Carmalita) of Richmond, VA; his siblings, James Gillespie, Robert Gillespie, Amos Gillespie, Gerald Gillespie, Elder Donnetta Britt of Concord, NC and Elaine Ijames of Cleveland, NC; and his close friend Julia Williams. He was also cherished by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
