He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Barber and Peggy Dow Barber; and his sister Diane Barber. He is survived by: his wife Ann Thomas Barber of Salisbury; his children, Ann Elizabeth Wiles (Jeremy) of Rockwell and Layton Everett Barber; his granddaughters, Juno Wiles and Jessa Toby Wiles; his siblings, Jesse D. Barber (Karen) of Sevierville, TN, Roy N. Barber (Stephanie) of Lexington and Peggy Kay Stone (Jimmy) of Lexington; his brother-in-law Richard L. Thomas (Sue) of Rocky Mount, VA; and his close friends, Keith, Linda Hensley and Queen Williams. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
