He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Butler Weddington and Dorothy Goodman Weddington; his wife Alice Morgan Weddington; his children, Megan Bame (Andy) of Salisbury, NC and Kurt Weddington (Emily) of China Grove; his sisters, Jane VonCanon (Marvin) of China Grove, Gail Oakley (Mike) of Mooresville and Sue Weddington of Salisbury; and his grandchildren, Luke, Audrey Bame, Eva, Ella and Coy Weddington. He was also cherished by his wife and attending his grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 16th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:45 PM at the Grace Lutheran Church (3020 Grace Church Rd, Salisbury, NC 28147). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, October 16th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, October 16th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the same location.
