He was predeceased by: his mother Pauline Eloise Leazer. He is survived by: his wife Ruby Oddie Leazer; his daughters, Sharon Leazer, Karen Barringer (Larry) of Salisbury and Sonya Leazer of Salisbury; his sister Paulette Carter; his grandson Derrick Thompson; and his great grandchildren, Adam, Dalton and Wyatt Thompson. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Union Lutheran Church, 4770 Bringle Ferry Road, Salisbury, NC 28146.
