He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Gladden and Cora Mae Gladden; and his sister Rita Sherman. He is survived by: his children, Vonetta Gladden of Charlotte, NC, Montra Wiggins (Christal) of Raleigh, Sylvia Grant of Washington, DC, Diamond of Washington, DC and Treque Saunders of Washington, DC; his siblings, Theodore Gladden (Paulette) of East Spencer, NC, Mildred Walker of Clayton, NC, Willie Gladden (Linda), Riverview, Thomas Gladden (Janet) of Sumter, SC and Oleatha Gladden-Welbon of Clayton, NC.; his grandchildren, Channing, Thaddeus, Keira, Arrington, Everly, Saveyon, Ja'Zyeon, Christina and Royalty; and his close friend Bridgette Hampton. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins.
A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 at the Yadkin Grove Baptist Church (325 Leonard Rd, Salisbury, NC 28146).
