He was predeceased by: his father James Haywood. He is survived by: his wife Mary Hill Trexler; his daughter Jennifer Lynn Trexler McDaniel (Jason Stocker) of Salisbury, NC; his sister Pat Kluttz (Don) of Salisbury, NC; and his grandchildren, Kaitlyn Elizabeth McDaniel (Montana Ivey) and Justin McDaniel.
