He was predeceased by: his parents, Ervin Shepherd and Mary Fry Shepherd; and his wife Deborah Shepherd. He is survived by: his children, Amanda Simpson (CJ) of Gold Hill, NC, Ben Hellard (Kathryn) and Chris Hellard; and his grandchildren, Tyler Swink, Cody Swink, Scarlett Swink, Claudia Hellard, Eevy Hellard and Riley Hellard.
