With profound sadness, we say goodbye to James Ardale Sheets (Salisbury, North Carolina), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. James Ardale left this world on September 3, 2024 at the age of 90, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Foster Sheets and Carrie Myrtle Black Sheets; his wife Doris Cable Sheets; his children, Tommie Sheets, Ronnie Sheets and Teresa; his sister Faye; and his grandchildren, Bradley Sheets, Shayn Adkins and Shanda Adkins.

He is survived by: his children, Steve Sheets (Jean), Johnny Sheets (Judy), Dean McSwain (Mary) and Wanda Paolino; his siblings, Gilbert Sheets (Ruth), Mazie Foster (Jimmy) and Marlene; and his grandchildren, April, Jamie, Shannon, Michael, Shayla, Ashley, Shiloh, Taylor, Raelin and Lori. He is also survived by twenty-one great grandchildren.

The family ask that memorial contributions be made to NC State Veterans Home.
