She is survived by: her husband Bennett Hester, Sr.; her daughter Kelly Hester of Charlotte; her grandchildren, Bennett David Hester, III, Christopher James Hester and Taylor Elizabeth Wiggins; her siblings, Nina Ellis of Winston-Salem, Frances Shores (Lee) of Winston-Salem, Cynthia Young of Winston-Salem, Dr. Benjamin Young (Teresa) of Winchester, Martin Young of Winston Salem, Robert Young of Winston Salem and Raymond Young of Winston Salem; and her close friends, Johnny, Patricia Johnson, Frances Glenn and Cecilia McCorkle McCullough (Jerry). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
