It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Jacob Larry Setzer of Salisbury, North Carolina, who passed away on August 30, 2022, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lottie Weaver Setzer and Simeon Gustavus Setzer; and his siblings, Louise Setzer Clodfelter, Gladys Setzer Kreiser, Irma Setzer Lackey, Dorothy Setzer Whitley, Fred Setzer and Lloyd Setzer.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Rose Peeler Setzer; his children, Brad Setzer of Salisbury and Sharon Setzer Hall (Frank) of Salisbury; his grandchildren, Angela Hall Eatmon (Matthew) of Angier, NC and Lauren Hall Poole (J. R.) of Salisbury; and his great grandchildren, Gavin Eatmon and Mason Poole. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
