He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Mitchell and Josephine Blair Mitchell; and his sister Ruby Lanear. He is survived by: his children, Keasha Wilborne of Salisbury, Tiffany Mitchell Bailey of Salisbury and Cordell Jevon Mitchell (Jazmine) of Concord; his siblings, Tyrone Mitchell (Nancy), Shelia Walker (Timothy) of Salisbury and Robin Mitchell (Lazarus) of Salisbury; and his brother-in-law Alonzo Lanear of Florida. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
