She was predeceased by: her parents, Effie Hill Spencer and Elwood Spencer; her husband William "Bill" Mills; her daughter Connie Mills Mesimore; and her brother Donald Spencer.
She is survived by: her granddaughter Kristin Alexander (Sean) of Salisbury; and her great grandchildren, William Spencer Jones, Chandler Jones and Nick Alexander.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to North Main Baptist Church.
