In the vast expanse of eternity, Gretchen Ann shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Gretchen Ann farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Otha Napoleon Hunter and Linne Lee Cowan; and her grandson Jacquez D'Andre Hunter-Cathey. She is survived by: her daughters, Sonja Hunter of Charlotte and Bridgette D. Hunter of Georgia; her siblings, Freddie Hunter (Delphine) of Fredericksburg, VA, Thomas Hunter (Carlotta) of Hempstead, Linda Hunter of Salisbury and Cora Tisha Bolden of Salisbury; her niece Trina Phillips West; and her nephew Anthony Lawrence Hunter. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and devoted friends who were touched by her wisdom.
