She was predeceased by: her parents, Alvin Custer and Beatrice Coleman Custer; her former husband Kenny Spry; and her siblings, Jim Nichols, Kenneth Nichols (Tuff), Donna Whitaker and Linda Parker.
She is survived by: her sons, Michael Spry (Jennifer) and Darrell Spry (Wendy) of Salisbury; her siblings, Jack Nichols (Phyllis), Rodney Custer (Kayla) of Mocksville, Dick Nichols (Florence) of New York, Marjorie Wall, Sandy Potts (Richard) and Jeanette Custer of Mocksville; her grandchildren, Elizabeth Hill (Lam Ton), Alex Spry, Hannah Forrest (Preston) and Jonathan Spry; and her great grandchildren, Jace Ton, Michael Spry and Wrenley Forrest.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the Bethel Lutheran Church (355 E Ridge Rd, Salisbury, NC 28146). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 at the Bethel Lutheran Church Cemetery (355 E Ridge Rd, Salisbury, NC 28146).
In lieu of flowers the family asks for memorials to be made to Bethel Lutheran Church.
