With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gladys Lorene Davis Dean of Salisbury, North Carolina, born in Greensboro, North Carolina, who passed away on October 6, 2024 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Edgar Davis and Bertha Anthony Davis; her husband Rev. LaWayne A. Dean; her siblings, Carl, Bill, Frances, Irene and Marie; her daughter-in-law Janie Dean; her great grandchild Tyler Le Beaver; her grandson Anson Holyfield; and her son-in-law Louis Beaver, Jr..
She is survived by: her children, Tim Dean (Pam), Waynette Dean Beaver, Sheila Dean Chandler (Scott) and LaNiece Dean. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 12th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the Salisbury Bible Community Church (1645 St Lukes Church Rd, Salisbury, NC 28146). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 12th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
