We are sad to announce that on December 25, 2023 we had to say goodbye to George Francis Monk Jr. of Salisbury, North Carolina. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He is survived by: his son George Francis Monk III; his granddaughter Margaret Frances Monk of Hartsville, SC; and his siblings, Carole Monk Thomas of Raleigh, Anne Monk McKinnon of Charlotte, Beth Monk Mills of Salisbury and Matthew Monk of Winston-Salem. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, family members, and many, many dear friends who frank truly considered extended family.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Meals on Wheels of Rowan, Inc. or Rowan Vocational Opportunities.
