He was predeceased by: his parents, James Pinkney Trexler and Mable Hutchinson Trexler; his daughter Reesa Dawn Trexler; and his brother James Edward Trexler. He is survived by: his daughter Jodie Trexler Laird; his siblings, Deana L. Trexler and Rick Trexler (Joy); and his grandchildren, Jesse McDaniel (Carolann), Tyler Laird (Pearl) and Danielle Laird Fagan (Jacob). He is also survived by 3 great-grandchildren.
A memorial service was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Salisbury National Cemetery (501 Statesville Blvd, Salisbury, NC 28144).
