She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Benjamin Harris and Willie Glen Harris; and her siblings, Joseph, Theodore, Hazel, Edith, Clara, Dorothy, John, Byard and Helen.

She is survived by: her brother Elwood Harris; her children, Dianna Shankle, Pete Sanderlin, Gloria Sanderlin and Ronald Sanderlin; and her grandchildren, Matthew, Jeff (Danielle), Christopher (Kendall) and Madison (Joseph). She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
