He was predeceased by: his parents, Marjorie M. Brothers and Daniel Clement McCarthy; and his siblings, Mary Jane Oagley, Royal Brothers, Richard F. McCarthy, Robert C. McCarthy and Rudy Charles McCarthy.
He is survived by: his wife Florence Elsie Snell (Judy McNamara); and his children, Daniel Edward (Martha), Brian Milton, Chris Blain, Brett John Naples (Miranda), Darren Walter Statesville (Hilda) and Debra Allison Sheridan (Timothy). He is also survived by his children are 11 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
