As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Edward may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Nevil Lee Lockhart and Harriett Epps Lockhart; his wife Donna Shue Lockhart; his sons, Rance Lockhart, Tim Lockhart and Jarrett Lockhart; and his brother David Lockhart (Linda).
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Linn Honeycutt Funeral Home (1420 N Main St, China Grove, NC 28023). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Mt. Moriah Lutheran Church (750 Mt Moriah Church Rd, China Grove, NC 28023).
