She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Clay Koontz and Amanda Cox Koontz; her husband Charles Thomas Barger (Tom); and her siblings, Hubert, Fred and Valeda.
She is survived by: her daughters, Linda Howard (Lynn) of Mooresville, Wanda Bogle (Donnie) of Salisbury, Sharon Graham (Randy) of Salisbury, Cheryl Marshall (David) of Mooresville and Ronnell Grubb (Jeff) of Lexington. She is also survived by children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
