In the sacred silence of farewell, Debra is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. She was predeceased by: her parents, Troy Swaim and DeEtta Richardson Swaim; and her brother David Andrew Swaim. She is survived by: her husband Jimmy Ray Dixon; her daughters, Angela Faye Bissett (Glen) and Pamela Annetta Dixon; and her siblings, Sheila Duggins, Kenneth Swaim and Dean Swaim (Karen). She is also survived by 4 grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Parkwood Baptist Church (1069 Central Dr NW, Concord, NC 28027). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to any Deaf Ministry of your choice or to Tucker Hospice House, 5003 Hospice Lane Kannapolis, NC 28081; or donations may be made directly to the family.
