He was predeceased by: his mother Elizabeth Vanfleet. He is survived by: his father David Pryor; his children, Jacob Karns of Fredericksburg, VA, Kathryn Karns of Vancouver, WA and Payton Karns of Salisbury, NC.; and his siblings, Dareld Karns, Jamie Akers-Angle and Kelly Akers.
