It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carolyn Virginia Cress (Salisbury, North Carolina), who passed away on February 17, 2024, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie Earnhardt Sr. and Virginia Russ; her husband Bobby Eugene Cress Sr.; and her siblings, Charlie Earnhardt Jr., Delmar Earnhardt, Patricia Earnhardt Bowers, Delcie Earnhardt Smith and Doris Earnhardt Carter.
She is survived by: her children, Bobby Eugene Cress Jr. (Patricia) of Gibson, Cheryl Cress Palmer of Woodleaf and Andrea Cress of Salisbury; her siblings, Grady Earnhardt (Jenny) of Salisbury and Ruth Earnhardt Julian of Salisbury; her grandchildren, Ricky Murphy Jr., Bonnie Cress and Cory Cress; and her great grandchildren, Jordan Murphy and Kelsie Murphy.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks for memorials to be made to the St. Paul's Lutheran Church.
