He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Harper and Hester Alexander Sherrill; and his siblings, Robert Harper (Barbara), Jerry Sherrill, Bobby Sherrill (Louise), Doris Cuthbertson, Helen Ellis and Betty Sherrill Thompson (Alfred).
He is survived by: his wife Yvonne Jordan Harper; his daughters, Jacquline Jordan of Salisbury, Carla Harper Moody of Kannapolis and Alesia Harper of Mooresville; his siblings, David Sherrill (Isolina) of Garyburg, VA, Carrie Sherrill of Salisbury and Lavonia Davis of Salisbury; and his siblings-in-law, Murtis Sherrill, Lila Partee, Carolyn Lawson, Judy Jordan, Frances Jordan, Pete Ellis, Nathaniel Jordan, Henry Jordan, Cecil Jordan and William Farris. He is also survived by grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild.
