He is survived by: his sons, Carl Banks Jr. (Kenethia) of Salisbury, NC, Jason Banks (Gloria) of Kannapolis, NC, Michael Banks of Kannapolis, NC and Justin Banks of Kannapolis, NC; his goddaughter Melissa Gilmore of Kannapolis, NC; and his siblings, Christine Carter (Ray) of Concord, NC, Hubert Banks of Kannapolis, NC and Joe Louis Banks (Eva) of Kannapolis, NC. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
