She is survived by: her children, Quentina Avery of Salisbury, Jerry W. Avery, Jr. of Salisbury and Brian Avery (Andrea) of Salisbury; her siblings, Lonnie "Buddy" Gaither, Jr. of Cleveland, Margo Gaither of Cleveland, Betty Harmon (Charles) of Columbia, SC and Stephanie Gaither Harris (John) of Durham; her grandchildren, Lanesha Ramos (Luis, III), Chanelle Delima (Brandon), Jamel Price, Sr. (Pamela), Tre'von Price, Charmoni Hairston, Imoni Hairston, Andre Avery and Jordanna Avery; and her great grandchildren, Jenesha Mashore, Xaniyah Price, Jameal Price, Jr., Aubrey Delima, Janelle Price, Jazelle Price and Jarrell Price.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Kelsey Memorial Chapel - Noble and Kelsey Funeral Home (223 E Fisher St, Salisbury, NC 28144). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Salisbury National Cemetery (501 Statesville Blvd, Salisbury, NC 28144).
