He was predeceased by: his niece Alexis Goodman; his uncle Sharkey "Lynn" Yates; and his grandmothers, Alma Mauldin and Annie Pinion. He is survived by: his parents, James Mauldin and Rhonda Yates Mauldin; his stepparents, Jackie Mauldin and Frank Hoyt; his sisters, Amber Mauldin (Jason Leatherman) of Woodleaf and Wendy Baucom (John Johnson) of McLeansville; his stepsiblings, Kailey Godley (Billy) of Cary, Brandy Goodman of Salisbury and Carson Branham of Salisbury; his aunts and uncles, Feldman "Buster" Yates of Concord, Dean Mauldin of Albemarle, Doug Mauldin (Leslie) of Waynesville, Deb Erk of Albemarle, Donna Talbert (Terry) of New London, Diann Hamilton (Kim) of Denton and Tracy Shaffer (Tim) of Salisbury; his nieces and nephews, Chase Baucom, Landon Robertson, Titan Leatherman, Zander Leatherman, Haze Leatherman, Van Godley, Louis Godley, Laila Goodman and Olivia Godley; and his grandfather Jimmy Russell Mauldin of Albemarle.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:45 PM at the Nazareth Community Church (856 Crescent Rd, Rockwell, NC 28138). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
