Blenda Maybelle McCombs Stone Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Blenda Maybelle McCombs Stone of Salisbury, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 3, 2025 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Allen Heller McCombs and Iris Peeler McCombs; her husband Jerrald Durantt "Jerry" Stone; her son Jerrald Durantt Stone, Jr.; and her granddaughters, Sabrina Stone and Jessica Bell.
She is survived by: her children, Jill Stone Bell of Salisbury, Kelly G. Stone (Cheryle Sigmon) of Salisbury, Ricky Allen Stone (Philip Fidel) of Chicago and Brian Keith Stone of Myrtle Beach; her sister Dianne Bowers; and her grandchildren, Ashlee Leeper, Jared Stone, Dustin Bell, Christie Stone and Seth Klein. She is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the Powles Staton Funeral Home (913 W Main St, Rockwell, NC 28138). A memorial service was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
