She was predeceased by: her parents, Vera S. Strickland Hill and Johnny Henry Hill, Sr.; and her husband Donald Burleson. She is survived by: her children, Darrell Eugene Bryant (Samaralee) of High Point, Kenya Michele Burleson of Salisbury and Tonya Burleson Yates (Scott Messick) of Salisbury; and her sisters, Nancy Simmons (Billy Jo) of Matthews and Susan Schafer of Oak Island. She is also survived by ten grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
