He was predeceased by: his parents, John Love Goodrich and Nannie Lewis Goodrich; and his brother Woody Goodrich. He is survived by: his wife Joyce Goodrich; his children, William Goodrich (Laura) of Clinton and Kelly Goodrich Collier (David) of Wade; his grandchildren, Ashley Holloman (Nick), Heather Goodrich and Ryan Hall; his great grandchildren, William Camden Holloman and Eliza Jane Holloman; his brothers, Charlie Goodrich (Emily) of Salemburg and Donnie Goodrich (Daphne) of Williamsburg; and also, Taylor Collier and Eric McPhail.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in W.J.'s honor to Corinth Baptist Church, 991 Corinth Church Road, Salemburg, NC 28385.
