He is survived by: his wife Delorus McLamb Royal; his sons, Darrell Royal of Salemburg and William Royal of Salemburg; and his sister Elizabeth Royal Spell. He is also survived by four grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
