She was predeceased by: her parents, Estel Royal and Georgianna Fann Royal; her siblings, Wrietzel Royal (Willodean), Estel Royal, Jr. (Joanne), Cozart (Gladys) and Matel Royal Viall (Bob Viall); and her nephew Elbert Royal.
She is survived by: her husband Bobby Sherrill Strickland; her children, Elaine Strickland Deal (Walt), Sherrill Strickland (Rhonda), Amy Strickland Ennis (Stuart) and Bryan Strickland (Virginia); her great grandchild Brandon Strickland (Megan); her children, Burroughs, Wallace and Clint Strickland (Allison); her grandchildren, Carter, Murray Miles and Watson; her son Jonathan Ennis (Amanda); her grandchildren, Brody and Owen; her children, Hannah Brooke Ennis, Peyton Strickland McCabe (Patrick) and Lawson Lorraine Strickland; and her in-laws, Jefferson and Sue Strickland. She is also survived by six grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:50 PM at the Salemburg Baptist Church (300 N Main St, Salemburg, NC 28385). A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations be made to Salemburg Baptist Church, P.O. Box 537, Salemburg, NC, or to the Town of Salemburg, P.O. Box 190, Salemburg, NC.
