He was predeceased by: his parents, John Shipp and Virginia Moore. He is survived by: his wife Faye Shipp; his sons, Danny Shipp (Margaret) and John Carter (Debbie); his sister Sharon Pittman; his granddaughters, Trisha Austin, Tracie Hatfield (Tommy) and Hannah Shipp; and his great grandchildren, Conner Hatfield, Victoria Austin, Jessica Austin, Kellan Hatfield, JT Austin and Lily Hatfield. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
The family requests that masks be worn due to COVID.
