It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy Warren of Salemburg, North Carolina, who passed away on July 27, 2022, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Beaty Handy and Lenna McLamb Bass; her husband James Rubert Warren; and her siblings, Lois Strickland, Mallie Carlisle, W. A. Bass and Earl Bass.
She is survived by: her daughter Patricia Warren Hobbs (John A. Hobbs) of Fayetteville; her granddaughter Amanda H. Toner (Scott) of Jackson Springs, NC; her great grandchildren, Scotti Toner and Trisha Toner; and her sisters, Alma Lee Rowland of Wilmington and Myrtle Wirfs (Gill) of Columbia, SC. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
