He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Odell Meece, Sr. and Naomi Wood Meece; and his daughter Trudie Renee Meece. He is survived by: his wife Sandy Odum Meece; his daughter Chrissy Meece Carr (Eddie) of Clinton; and his brothers, Denny Meece of Georgia, Randy Meece of Orlando, FL and Steve Meece of Bluffton, SC..
