He was predeceased by: his parents, Lemuel Stewart and Annie Tucker Pearsall; his wife Mary Ellen Pearsall; and his daughter Faye Butler. He is survived by: his children, Rita Wurschum of Salemburg, James Pearsall of Salemburg and David Pearsall (Helen) of Stedman; and his brother Keith Pearsall of Wilmington. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren, thirty-two great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren.
