He is survived by: his wife Betty Jenkins Beaney; his son Johnny Beaney (Tammy) of Hope Mills; his stepchildren, Gwyn Jackson of Parkton, John Jackson, Jr. of Fayetteville and Wanda Kenny of Roseboro; his sisters, Shirley Jackson of St. Pauls, Marilyn Blackburn of St. Pauls, Sue Owens of St. Pauls, Barbara Willoughby of Lumberton and Betty Hinson of Sanford; his granddaughter Arika Beaney; his great grandchild Reagan Bovin; his stepgrandchildren, John Kenny, Jacqueline Holmes (Francis) and Cheyenne Jackson; and his stepgreat-grandchildren, Ava Holmes and Sean Holmes. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
