We are sad to announce that on December 2, 2023, at the age of 83, Neil Archie Byrd (Saint Pauls, North Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his former wife Mavis Rozier Byrd (Janice White Byrd); his parents, Lucius Guy Byrd and Mary Clark Byrd; and his siblings, Charles Byrd, Yates Byrd, Betty Powers, Ella Jones and Ruth Russell.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Rozier Byrd; his daughters, Terry Thomas (David) of Hope Mills, Debbie Owens (Jeff) of Fayetteville and Betty Ray (Raymond) of Graham; his stepson Eddie Dalton (Jenn) of Durham; and his siblings, John Byrd of Bladenboro, Cecil Byrd of Fuquay-Varina and Rosa Edge of Virginia Beach, VA. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
