She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert Prevatte and Sadie Cashwell Prevatte; her husband Daniel L. Beard; and her siblings, Herbert Prevatte, Betty Freeman, Annie Pate and Ruby Lyde.
She is survived by: her children, Daniel William Beard (Kimberly) of Michigan and Brenda Grace Musser of Myrtle Beach, SC; and her sister Bess Willis of Hope Mills. She is also survived by 5 grandkids.
