He was predeceased by: his parents, Lon Lee Furr and Pauline Furr; and his siblings, Gene Furr, Ephraim Furr, Roger Dale Furr, Boone Furr, Joe Furr (Jack Furr), Clara Hatley, Nina Furr and Sarah Love.
He is survived by: his siblings, Charlie Davis Barbee of Midland, Brenda F. Morgan of Stanfield and Mable Hartsell of Oakboro; his close friend Rueben Dale Andrew White (Teri) of St. Pauls; and his nieces and nephews, Donna S. Huneycutt, Becky Harris, Eugena Hatley, Gay Love, Kannika King, Tim Summers, Wade Summers, Lawrence Hatley Mark Hatley and Gary Love. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the McNeill Legacy Funeral Home (319 W Broad St, St Pauls, NC 28384). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 at the Oak Ridge Cemetery (1019 W Broad St, St Pauls, NC 28384).
