With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lillian Pruden (Saint Pauls, North Carolina), born in Hertford, North Carolina, who passed away on May 8, 2020 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Rupert Owen Liverman and Ima Forehand Liverman; her husband Edmund Jordan Pruden, Jr.; and her siblings, Mildred Liverman Johnson, Rupert Edward Liverman, Richard Owen Liverman, Benjamin Charles Liverman and Jim Pearce Liverman.
She is survived by: her children, Ellen Pruden Rea (Marvin) of St. Pauls, NC, Ima Marie Pruden (Karen) of Ruffin, NC and Edmund Jordan Pruden, III (Karen) of Washington, NC; her granddaughters, Sarah Rea Butler (Brad) of Coats, NC, Emily Rea Glenham (Trey) of Columbia, SC and Elizabeth Pruden Dyer (Taylor) of Washington, NC; and her great grandchildren, James, Elijah, Everette, Makenna and Harrison.
She was a member of the Historic Hope Foundation and Windsor United Methodist Church where she was a Sunday School teacher and member of United Methodist Women.
