It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kistler Paul Buie of Saint Pauls, North Carolina, born in Darlington, South Carolina, who passed away on September 21, 2021, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Palmer Buie and Pauline Buie; his siblings, John Buie, Jim Buie, Roy Buie, Wilson Buie, Julian Buie, Ronald Buie, Raeford Buie and Hazel Thompson; his brother-in-law Theo Thompson; and his grandson William Wright.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Stephens Buie; his children, Paul Buie, Jr. (Julie) and Gladys Susan Buie; his grandchildren, Jamie Roberts, Jordan Roberts (Kate), Stephen Wright and Sarah Martinez (C. W.); his brothers, Gerald Buie (Bettina) and Robert Buie; and his sisters-in-law, Edna Buie, Louise Buie, Lois Buie, Mae Belle Buie, Martha Buie and Patricia Buie.
