He was predeceased by: his parents, Lionel LaFlamme and Ruby Patterson; his son James Franklin Patterson (Frankie); and his grandson Jordan Patterson. He is survived by: his wife Faye Patterson; his siblings, Sylvia of Fayetteville and Gerald (Pat) of St. Pauls; his children, Barbara Maynor (Vince), Rickey Patterson (Donna) of St. Pauls and David (Cathy) of St. Pauls; his grandchildren, Keisha Johnson (Will), Dana Maynor, James Phillip Patterson (Danille), James McKinley Patterson, David Patterson, Jade Patterson, Kaitlin Hickman (Travis) and Veondra Parker; and his close friends, Jason, Robert and Randy. He is also survived by seventeen great grandchildren.
