He was predeceased by: his parents, Raeford Lowery, Sr. and Levonia Carter Lowery; his daughter Angie Lowery; his brothers, Spencer "Dobb" Lowery, Tommy "Fatty" Lowery, Calvin "Hump" Lowery, Thomas Earl "Pumpkin" Lowery and Raeford "Nukie" Lowery, Jr.; his grandchildren, Fred O'Renzo Lowery, Quinton O'Neal Lowery and Amaya Hunt; and his great grandchild James Terrance Harris-Ivey.
