He was predeceased by: his parents, John C. Britt and Betty R. Britt; his siblings, William Britt, George Barnes, Robert Barnes and Betty Morrow; and his close friend Linda Lancaster.
He is survived by: his daughters, Amy Britt Paris of Hope Mills and Crystal Britt of Hope Mills; his siblings, John Britt (Katherine) of St. Pauls, Marie Pouliot of Leland, Carolyn Britt of Leland and Dale Phipps of Leland; and his pet Angel.
