He was predeceased by: his parents, Hubert Skipper and Annie Ruth Shelley Skipper; his brother Jesse Skipper; and his nephew Jeremy Skipper. He is survived by: his wife Dr. Michelle Taylor Skipper of St. Pauls, NC; his sons, Jonathan Skipper (Meredith) of Laurinburg, NC, Hubert "Bud" Skipper (Paige) of Bennettsville, SC and Phillip Skipper (Courtney) of Bennettsville, SC; his sisters, Lynda Grooms (William) of McColl, SC, Debbie Tobias of McColl, SC and Peggy Scruggs (Chris) of Piedmont, SC; his grandchildren, Laney Cullipher, Hailey Skipper, Sealey Skipper and Khloe Skipper; his mother-in-law Gladys Taylor; his sisters-in-law, Kristie Taylor, Tanya Underwood and Betty Skipper; and his former wife Dottie Webster Cato. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
