She was predeceased by: her parents, Hester Durden and Ada Justice Durden; her husband Paul C. Guy, Jr. (Buddy); and her siblings, Joyce Holloman, Herman Durden, Thurman Durden, Winford Durden, Jimmy Durden, Glen Durden, Roy Durden and Robert Durden.

She is survived by: her children, Jimmy Bailey (Melissa) of St. Pauls, Jennifer Lyde (Timmy) of St. Pauls, Connie McQueen (Dean) of Parkton and Stacey Cordova (Otto) of Hope Mills; her sisters, Earline Gray of St. Pauls and Mary Braddock (Roy) of South Carolina; and her grandchildren, Ashley Lyde, Amber Jackson, Rachel Britt, Deanna McQueen, Elijah McQueen, Leana McQueen and Carter Cordova. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
