She was predeceased by: her fathers, Julian Oliver and David Evander Humphrey, Sr.; her husband Ronald Jones; her son Robert McArthur Humphrey; and her brothers, Bobby Keith McArthur, Morton McArthur and James Stanford "Jimmy" McArthur.
She is survived by: her sons, David Humphrey (Sharon) of St. Pauls, James Richard Humphrey (Sue) of Supply and William Joseph Humphrey of Whiteville; her adoptive son Dr. Jim Butler of Lumberton; her siblings, Frances Clifton of Columbia, SC and Larry Oliver McArthur of Rowland, NC; and her friend Robin Mincher of Arizona. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
