As Wilma departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Wilma may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Wilma leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her husband Ray Lawton Ruff; her parents, Woodrow Morris and Iriebelle Jackson Morris; and her siblings, Linda Johnson, Marcelle Sisk, Carolyn Jolly, Juanita Morris, Pansy Pendergrass and Robert Morris. She is also survived by extended family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, February 16th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Crowe's Mortuary (118 College Ave, Rutherfordton, NC 28139). A funeral service was held on Sunday, February 16th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Crowe's Funeral Chapel (118 College Ave, Rutherfordton, NC 28139).
